What is "Medicated Sekkisei"?
"Medicated Sekkisei" is approved by Japan Ministry of Health. In Asia, Kose Sekkisei Series has "Medicated" wording on the package. Due to the popularity of Medicated Sekkisei among our customers, we offer mainly Medicated version but you will still find "Non-Medicated" Kose in our store. The "Non-Medicated" version includes Sekkisei Cleansing Powder, Seikisho products and Kose samples which are in original package and available in Asia and North America.

Kose Medicated Sekkisei Whitening Emulsion:
With five different botanic extracts, including Inula Japonica Thunb, Coix Seed, Mountain Bark, Melothria and Angelica, help brighten up and provide silky touch of skin;

Contains Moisture Balance Polymer that helps to balance the production of sebum for fresh and comfortable feeling;

Inhibits melanin production and prevents freckles caused by sun exposure.

For all skin type (except ultra-sensitive skin)

How to use?
After cleansing and toning, put the emulsion all over the face and gently massage;
For oily skin, apply Sekkisei Whitening Lotion, Sekkisei Emulsion and Day Care Essence;
For dry skin, apply Sekkisei Whitening Lotion, Sekkisei Emulsion, Sekkisei Cream and Day Care Essence.

Kose Medicated Sekkisei Emulsion is a whitening moisturizer that in milky, semi-transparent form and in lightweight texture for moisturizing and brightening. To achieve the best whitening result, I will recommend Kose Medicated Sekkisei Lotion prior to the application of the emulsion in order to remove dead skin cells that may prevent the product from penetrating into the skin.

Since the moisturizer is designed for combination and oily skin so you may find it is not moisture enough when used in Winter. If I hunger for something to take care of my dehydrated skin as well as to provide whitening benefit, I use this product as an essence to prevent the evaporation of natural skin moisture. Then, I use Kose Medicated Sekkisei Day Care Essence in day time for SPF protection and Kose Medicated Sekkisei Emulsion Excellent at night for intensive moisture.
