Do you carry "Medicated Seikisho"? "Medicated" is only printed on Sekkisei and Junkisui Skin Care Series. There is no "Medicated" wording on most Seikisho products except for Seikisho Soap and Seikisho Whitening Mask. These products are in original package and available in Asia and North America.

Kat Reviews Based on my expectation on a toner/makeup lotion designed for combination skin, the following criteria are considered:
- The lotion is light and easy to be absorbed; - Regular sebum production; - Improve large pores problem; - Able to improve acne prone skin.
Kose Seikisho Clear Lotion includes several Chinese herbs that help to smooth and improve oily skin problem. Unlike other water-based toner, Seikisho Clear Lotion is in a watery-gel alike texture but it is also light and sinks in almost instantly once it is applied to the skin. However, when I first opened the bottle, the smell of the herbal ingredients was strong, I wasn't sure if I liked it. But I did apply it to my face coz I desperately needed a clear lotion to improve my skin texture and remove debris after a long distance flight.
The Clear Lotion should be used with a cotton pad. Instead, I put it in my palm and patted on the skin. The result? It was pretty amazing. It gave me a semi-matte and smooth finish with light hydrating results. I then applied day cream, makeup base and foundation as usual. Surprising, no flaky skin on my nose that I used to have with the changing weather. What's more, the pores around my cheeks seemed less visible after just a few days of application. I believe the semi-matte finish created by the lotion did a great job on illuminating the size of the pores but undoubtedly, my skin becomes smoother and clearer in just a week.
Having said that, if you have acne skin and congested pores, it will take longer to see the result; and don't forget to use a cotton pad when you apply the lotion (I do set a bad example though!!), which can remove dead skin cells more effectively.
Going back to my expectations on a toner, I think Seikisho Clear Lotion hasn't disappointed me. I even scored the lotion based on my expectations and here it is (5 max):
- Light and easy to be absorbed; 5 - Regular sebum production; 3 (felt a bit greasy after few hours of application but after all, Clear Lotion is not an oil control product) - Improve large pores problem; 3.5 (pores look less visible) - Able to improve acne prone skin; 3.5 (Clear Lotion is not an acne treatment product; however, by removing dead skin, it will definitely help you to prevent acne and blemishes)
