How to take care of oily skin?
- Choose gentle cleanser formulated for oily skin. Avoid heavy cleansing creams and harsh soaps or cleansers;
- Wash your face no more than three times a day. Too much washing will stimulate your skin to produce more oil;
- Massage your face with fingertips by an upward and outward motion when washing your face. Do not rub soap into the skin as it can clog pores;
- Avoid harsh skincare products that leave your skin feeling tight and dehydrated. It leads to blockages and breakouts;
- Starch, processed food and sugar can lead to oily skin. Fresh vegetables, fruits and grain are essential elements for a healthy skin. Drink eight or more glasses of water everyday to keep you well hydrated. Vitamins and minerals supplement is also important, especially Vitamins A, B complex and C.

Effective ingredients for oily skin
Look for ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Burdock Root, Chamomile, Horsetail, Lavender, Lemongrass, Licorice Root, Rosebuds, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHAs), B Vitamin Niacinamide, Tea Tree Oil, Propolis, Grape Seed Oil, and Zinc Oxide. Avoid ingredients such as Petroleum-Based Oils, Lanolin, Minerals Oils, Mineral Waxes, Alcohol Based, and Butter Extracts.
